For early-stage startups, I think cash-flow visibility, automated invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and basic financial reporting are the must-haves. Affordability matters, but choosing software that can grow with the business can prevent a painful switch later. The best tool really depends on the startup’s size, market, and accounting needs.
