Eat light meal in the flight. Take snacks like fruits, cheese and crackers between meals.Bring extra cushion or travel pillow for neck and back support. Great post! I think healthy travel is something most people overlook until they actually fall sick on a trip. I’d like to add a few thoughts that have worked for me:
  • Stay Hydrated – Carry a reusable water bottle and drink regularly, especially if you’re flying, since planes dehydrate you faster. Electrolyte packets are also handy for long journeys.
  • Balanced Eating – It’s tempting to try all the street food, but balancing it with fruits, yogurt, or something light keeps your stomach in check. Probiotics help too.
[
  • b]Move Around – S[/b]itting for hours in trains, buses, or planes can cause stiffness. I try to stretch every few hours or even walk around when possible.
  • Sanitization – A small pack of sanitizing wipes goes a long way—cleaning hands before meals or wiping surfaces like tray tables makes a difference.
  • Sleep Schedule – Time zone changes can mess with energy. I try to adjust my sleep a day or two before traveling to reduce jet lag.
For me, the biggest challenge is eating right because travel makes you want to try everything. I’ve started using the “80-20 rule”—80% mindful, 20% indulgence—which keeps me balanced.

Curious to know: has anyone here tried carrying their own healthy snacks while traveling (like nuts, protein bars, or fruit)? Did it actually help you avoid unhealthy food, or did you end up eating both anyway? 😅
