I stuck with OneDrive because the Microsoft 365 integration is unbeatable for work. Copilot is actually useful for summarizing long documents, moving beyond just marketing. The lack of zero-knowledge encryption is a major red flag, so I use Cryptomator for my most sensitive files to ensure total privacy.

I think the better question is what you actually need from cloud storage. Price, security, collaboration, speed, and privacy all matter differently depending on the user. The “best” option isn’t universal anymore—it’s the one that fits your workflow, priorities, and long-term needs.
